Does culture contribute economic growth?

I think it works both ways. The more developed a city is, the more money it has to spend on things that cultivate culture. The more cultured a city is, the more it attracts investors and skilled people who can then help grow the economy even further.

I agree with you. It has to work both ways. Culture attracts people, people bring money, money buids the city including  museums,  galleries, concert halls and all other cultural venues.

Yes both ways like you guys mentioned. Culture can bring in the tourists which in turn improves the economy of the area.
