I want *my* robot to have real muscles and everything

Link: https://singularityhub.com/2018/01/11/low-cost-soft-robot-muscles-lift-2...

Scientists, bless their hearts, have made it a point of pride to make robots more and more like humans. I heartily agree with this approach yet I wonder when they'll get around to really approximating the flexibility and versatility of human motion.  Now, some of our blessed scientists have made breakthroughs in the muscle department.  They call it "soft robotics" and it's all about giving robots artificial muscles that are almost like the real thing.  Of course, the true test of that would be: can they open your jars for you?

I'm sure it can. As per the article - It has the adaptability of an octopus arm, the speed of a hummingbird and the strength of an elephant and they could carry out a variety of tasks, from gently picking up delicate objects like eggs or raspberries to lifting objects many times their own weight, such as a gallon of water, at rapid repetition rates. They also have the ability to mimic a variety of natural motions.

Scientist are very imaginative, creative and intelligent and I'm no doubting their capabilities on inventing more robots with all the features a human person needs.

I'm thinking of the movie "The Terminator". Where Arnold Schwarzenegger is a robot that have muscles and doesn't really look like a robot.
