Segment of the workforce vulnerable to automation

I'm surprised to see that automation is going to impact white-collar jobs and jobs that require a bachelor's degree by this much. I would've thought that the most impacted sector would be manual laborers and those who work in manufacturing. Also very surprising that as far as age demographics are concerned, the younger generation is more heavily impacted than middle-aged people.

I used to think that blue collar jobs are the ones that will be greatly affected,  but it seems that even the white collar jobs are affected as well. I had a chat with a friend who works in a call center as a fraud analyst, He said that their department got downsized due to automation. I was shocked when I heard about it.
