Smart Home Innovations Of The Future

Link: https://interestingengineering.com/future-of-the-smart-home-11-innovatio...

I get how these might be exciting for some but most of the ones on this list just kind of struck me as...superfluous. Who would ever need a multi-tasking light switch? And why?

I definitely can see how multi-tasking light switch could be useful. My home is still miles away from being smart, but I do have some almost futuristic home inovations. My appliances, peephole, speakers, phones and tv are smart and connected to my smartphone.

Does it make my life simpler or easier? Probably not, especially when one of the things needs upgrade or battery change. But it sure does make my time at home more fun. So yeah, I can totally see myself installing multi-tasking light swith as soon as it becomes affordable.

Smart home technology is making strides in making it easier for homes to adapt and quickly realize the benefits of home automation. With an emerging steep market and a competitive industry being molded with the home automation platform, companies and tech providers are now keen to introduce better products within the near future. And always I'll say that the upcoming smart home will be continuing with IOT.

Money is all about how much you can save your asset. It will not define you rich whether you earn a lot or increment your salary. You'll always remain poor until you have the capability to earn asset. And this Smart Home Gadget will learn you how to save money and learn to live smart as well.

This right here. Yeah it's expensive for most but the price will eventually go down once competitors come flocking in. We can't really stop technology, it's best to just accept it for what it is and adjust accordingly.

I agree that some of these are cool but others are kinda like novelty items to me. That robot cook though looks like a fun idea. Imagine having 2 mechanical arms prepping and cooking whatever food you desire lol.

You have a point. Saves time cleaning the house for example and at the same time you save money in hiring a housekeeper. Living the life smart. I just realized, you know what, you're totally right. I might buy one of these techonology innovations in my own home one day, specifically the QuickDrive washer and the Evovacs Deebot Ozmo hahaha

True. We can't stop technology from coming in so I'll wait for the price to go down even just a bit. Then, I'll buy. Lol
