Suburbs won't be that much better to live in than cities soon

It's pretty neat that we don't have to be tied down to any "good" location anymore if we want to make a good living. Pretty much everything you need is online anyway. But who would've thought that this would mean cozy little suburbs would start to turn into busy cities too?

It depends on your work. If you're working in a corporate world in a city then you must stay in the City renting your own apartment, embracing the high cost of living and whatnot. If you're working remotely, it would be best to stay on suburbs where lifestyle is far cheaper than living in the city.

It's all about how one wants to lead life simply. My thought says, it really depends and varies on ages. At the child age, people tend to money, education and some acquiring or requiring stuff as well. For that, they choose Urban or like City instead of suburbs. At after ages, many wants at least happiness nothing more than this so they choose suburbs for the seek of a healthy life.

I grew up in the ‘burbs, and I didn’t hate it. Schools were great, everyone was pretty affluent. There were snobs and bullies, yeah, but our parents could drop us off at the movies or mall when we were 13 and 14 and not worry we might get shot or raped or mugged. It was pretty okay, although I did always imagine that I’d go to college in a big city (I did) and then get an amazeballs job in another big, exciting city where I’d live in a super-chic industrial loft (I didn’t). I  guess growing up in the suburbs made city life seem glamorous and gritty and wonderful.

If I were to be asked whether city of suburbs, I'd say, I like to retire in suburbs where life and people are simple. That's when I retire. However, when talking about career, I would really prefer working in a city where opportunity is at it's best.

Btw, you can't ake away the snobs and bullies in the picture when your young. It makes life more exciting, isn't it?

Living in suburbs is really the best when your raising a family. Just like what you said, it's much safer for kids.

I won’t lie, both rural and urban communities have different feels. 8 years in that fucking rich suburb were the worst 8 years of my life. I will try not to have a tone of arrogance, and it may be hard to explain why I was more comfortable in my smaller house and different surroundings.

Any place that has enough amenities and is safe  to live in is good enough for me :)
