We won't want robots to be "people persons"

Is this why human beings experience a kind of revulsion when confronted with robots that kind of look like real people? Because we want talk to them when we're not in the mood to talk to people?

I think it also has something to do with the fact that it reinforces the fear of a lot of people that robots will replace us. If they already look like us now, will they be us in 10, 20 years?
