Is a world without jobs possible?

I think a society where working is no longer necessary to procure the basic thing you need to survive is possible. I don't think it's going to happen in my lifetime though. But given the advancement in robotics and how more and more things are becoming more affordable due to reduced costs in automation and innovation in materials, a future where a universal basic income can allow someone to survive isn't impossible.

Yeah it's not pretty feasible at least in this lifetime, especially since we are still pretty divided as a race. But who knows, maybe in the future they'll figure something out.

I'm not so sure if we'll ever reach the point that no one needs to have a job. We are so divided as a species and capitalism is a big component of almost all countries.
