I am hopeful that this will be a reality in the next 20 years or so. Lowering the cost of a lot of basic necessities should help alleviate the widening class disparity in most cities. Affordable housing, lower internet-costs, greener transport options are all very good options to start with. Gosh, I'd even settle to just more affordable housing. It's just depressing when you see documentaries about the homeless and more than half of them are employed but still can't afford a roof over their head.
